Why did your ex husband never come to the United Kingdom to visit your children or was that not allowed? International custody arrangements usually require participation from both parents. I allowed my ex wife to have Sole Custody and return with the children to establish permanent lawful residence in United States her homeland as long as she agreed to bring the children back to Europe at least 3 times per year for visits lasting at least 2 weeks(though they usually stayed for 4-6 weeks) as well easy immediate liberal access whenever I traveled to the United States as long as I gave 72 hour notice that I was coming. As long as I gave the notice she would be waiting at the airport with the children when I arrived. I was unlimited in how often I could visit and especially while school was in session I did this, because I was man enough to put hostilities aside and go see my children, regardless of how I felt about their mother. It seems as if your ex husband really doesn't care about your children.
